Materials and Structure

The active material is AKD wax, emulsified into a cationic liquid using a high-molecular polymer emulsifier. The molecular structure features a hydrophobic alkyl chain that reacts with cellulose to form covalent β-keto ester bonds, creating a permanent waterproof network on the paper fibers.
