Product Summary

The RCC-02-C309 combines Level C cut protection with a chemical-resistant nitrile coating, so one glove covers two hazards that usually require two separate products. The liner is a 13-gauge seamless polyester/glass fiber knit; the shell carries a patented Nitrile Hybrid Chemical Compound (HCC) applied in three passes over both palm and back. A 35 cm gauntlet cuff extends coverage over the wrist and forearm, which matters in dip, immersion and transfer work where oil, grease or chemical splash reaches beyond the hand.

The coating is certified against six of eighteen chemicals tested under EN ISO 374-1:2016, identified by the letter codes K, L, M, N, P and T. Manufacturing is covered by Module D certification from SGS under Regulation (EU) 2016/425.

Key Features

  • Level C cut protection on a 13GG polyester/glass fiber liner - sharp sheet edges and trimmed parts are handled without switching to a heavier, stiffer glove.
  • Patented Nitrile HCC triple coating on palm and back - both sides of the glove carry the barrier, giving wider coverage than a palm-dipped shell in splash and contact work.
  • Six chemicals certified (KLMNPT) of 18 tested, EN ISO 374-1:2016 - buyers can match a letter code against their own chemical list during PPE assessment.
  • HOLDWELL PLUS grip technology - abrasive, durable grip that holds oily and greasy components instead of letting them rotate.
  • 35 cm gauntlet cuff - forearm and wrist stay covered during immersion and overhead handling.
  • Seamless 13-gauge knit - reduces seams and bulk at the fingers for long shifts and better wearer compliance.

Models and Options

Cut levels

Level C, D, E and F constructions are listed in this glove family. This page describes the Level C RCC-02-C309 configuration.

Coating types

Nitrile, PVC, PU and Neoprene coatings are available across the range; the RCC-02-C309 uses the nitrile HCC triple coating.

Liner materials

Glass fiber for the Level C build, or Aramid / steel fiber where a higher cut level is specified.

Materials and Structure

The glove is built from the inside out. A seamless 13-gauge polyester/glass fiber knit forms the cut-resistant shell and keeps the hand comfortable on long shifts. Three successive nitrile HCC passes are then applied to palm and back, producing a continuous chemical-resistant skin with the HOLDWELL PLUS grip pattern that stays abrasive in oily conditions. The 35 cm gauntlet cuff is an extension of the same coated shell, so there is no join to open up at the wrist.

Applications

  • Metal fabrication and steel processing - sharp sheet, burrs and trimmed workpieces
  • Automotive assembly and workshop maintenance with oily components
  • Chemical industry - selected chemical handling with the certified letter codes
  • Oil and gas, mining and machinery / industrial maintenance
  • Food processing and logistics and packaging handling lines
  • Clean energy operations and general industrial maintenance

Customization

Configuration choices within the family cover coating type (nitrile, PVC, PU, Neoprene), cut level (C to F) and liner material (glass fiber or Aramid / steel fiber). Share the chemicals in your process, the cut level in your risk assessment and the working conditions, and Rista will confirm which build matches the specification.

Supply Program Reference

A five-year supply program for importers and wholesalers delivered 5,000,000 pairs to buyers in the US, Canada, France, Austria, Australia, Sweden, Brazil, Chile, Spain and Japan. Program outcomes reported by the customer: consistent grip in dry, slightly oily and wet conditions with lower dropped-part rates; resistance to common industrial chemicals, oils and greases; long service life reducing glove replacement frequency; stable batch-to-batch quality across multi-site operations.

FAQ

What cut resistance level does the RCC-02-C309 offer?

Level C, on a 13-gauge seamless polyester/glass fiber liner. Level D, E and F constructions are available in the same family if your risk assessment requires a higher level.

Which chemicals is the coating certified against?

Six of eighteen chemicals tested, certified under EN ISO 374-1:2016 and identified by the letter codes K, L, M, N, P and T. Always match the glove letter code against the chemicals in your own process before approval.

How long is the cuff?

35 cm gauntlet length, providing additional wrist and forearm coverage for immersion, dip and splash exposure.

Is it suitable for oily and greasy parts?

Yes. The glove is designed for oil and grease resistant all-round chemical work conditions, and the HOLDWELL PLUS grip technology maintains an abrasive grip on lubricated components.

Is it certified for the European market?

Manufacture is covered by Module D production quality assurance certification from SGS, certificate number CN21/42482, under Regulation (EU) 2016/425, valid from 2021-07-04 until 2027-07-03.

Can I order other coatings or liner materials?

Yes. Nitrile, PVC, PU and Neoprene coatings are offered across the range, and liners can be glass fiber or Aramid / steel fiber depending on the cut level required.
