Article 464980-02 is the single construction documented on this page: 108 gsm, 60 × 75D, 45.1% Modal / 19.4% Micro Polyester / 35.5% Cupro. Any change to weight, yarn count or blend ratio becomes a separate article and is developed and quoted as its own specification.
GTI's published finishing menu covers mercerized, anti-bacterial, anti-UV, wrinkle-free, water / oil / stain repellent, cooling and thermal routes. Whether a specific finish applies to this article is settled at sampling.
Three fibres carry the cloth. Modal, derived from wood pulp, sets the handfeel: soft, silky and with excellent drape. Cupro adds natural sheen and breathability, which is why the blend reads as an elevated fabric rather than a plain cellulosic shirting. The two are balanced by a 19.4% Micro Polyester component inside the same 60 × 75D construction. The lustre of the finished cloth is attributed to its Cupro content in the mill's product data, not to an applied surface treatment.
The article is specified for apparel manufacturing in premium casual and dress shirting, and has run in menswear shirting programmes (see case study below). At 108 gsm with a breathable Cupro component, it suits shirts for warm and humid markets — the same climate as GTI's operating region in Central Java, where the mill runs continuous multi-shift production on weaving, dyeing, finishing and sewing lines under tropical humidity.
Fabric development at GTI runs through a digital design pipeline, including weave design platforms YX Weave, Ned Graphics and Penelope, a Digital Fabric E-Library, and 3D garment design tools such as Style 3D and CLO 3D, backed by a 30-engineer R&D team. Colour development is supported by an in-house colour matching lab, and bulk is checked through a dedicated fabric inspection facility. Bespoke weights, blends or finishing routes are handled as new articles with their own sampling and approval. MOQ, price and lead time are commercial terms agreed per programme.
