Polyester Polyol XF-B-4 is the high-hydroxyl grade (370±20 mgKOH/g) in the fertilizer coating line, offering the highest reactivity for rapid curing and increased crosslink density, which enables the production of tougher, more durable coatings.
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Hydroxyl Value (mgKOH/g) | 370±20 |
| Acid Value (mgKOH/g) | ≤3.0 |
| Moisture (%) | ≤0.15 |
| Viscosity (CPS, 25°C) | 3500±500 |
| Raw Materials | PA, PTA, AA, DEG, GLY, etc. |
XF-B-4 is one of three polyester polyol grades offered for controlled-release fertilizer coating:
This grade is available in standard packaging options such as IBC drums (1200 kg or 1000 kg) and galvanized iron drums (225 kg, 200 kg, or 170 kg).
XF-B-4 is synthesized from the same monomer family (PA, PTA, AA, DEG, GLY) but with a formulation that yields a higher hydroxyl number. This results in a more branched structure, providing additional reactive sites for isocyanate crosslinking.
MOQ is flexible and can be adjusted according to customer requirements. Please contact us for your specific needs.

The key difference is the hydroxyl value, which affects reactivity and final coating hardness. XF-270 has the lowest, XF-B-3 intermediate, and XF-B-4 the highest. Choose based on your desired release profile and processing conditions.
We offer IBC drums (1200kg or 1000kg) and galvanized iron drums (225kg, 200kg, 170kg).
