The design specification for the holding force of the core hydraulic hoist reaches 5000 kN, ensuring that the equipment has sufficient capacity to quickly and smoothly close the tailrace emergency gate under emergency conditions (such as unit failure or pipeline rupture), instantly cutting off the tailrace flow to prevent river water from flowing backward into the powerhouse, and ensuring the safety of the underground powerhouse and core units.
Among the equipment inspected this time, the structurally complex gate slot cover plate has become the focus of attention. This cover plate integrates numerous precision devices. Through on-site measurements, it has been confirmed that the flatness error of the cover plate is strictly controlled within 0.05 millimeters per square meter as required by the design drawings, ensuring a seamless fit between the cover plate and the gate slot, thus laying a solid foundation for subsequent installation and commissioning.
